from other singers. Then will be group discussions about developing sets and a stage
personna.

This course will also include tips on how to find & rehearse your band, and on setting up gigs.

What to bring:  You will need to bring the music to one song per week

More about the course:
Ah, the illusive path to finding your own vocal style!  Speaking only from my own
experience as a professional vocalist, this process took me years!  Problem?  I liked
too many styles to pick just one!  But the bottom line was that people wanted to go
out and experience a certain TYPE of music.  When I finally found the one I felt that
my sound was best suited for, I was well into my mid-thirties (this after nearly 20
years of performing was already behind me!)

Maybe you've always wanted to figure out which style you are most suited for.... Or, maybe
you just want to develop further what you already know you do best. This vocal workshop will
be intensive, but FUN!  You need to be comfortable singing in front of,
 and with other vocalists.
There will be a little tender, constructive criticism along the way.

Join in a monthly themed project series with acclaimed vocalist, & former Berklee College of Music Prof., Cheryl Hodge in an intimate setting (limit 6 people per series - so you'll get lots of attention!)  The fun begins in March with an intensive workshop on developing your own vocal style.  Overcome stage shyness, too!
